If you're in Indore, Coimbatore, Ludhiana or Surat, getting a module coded or a feature switched on can mean a long drive and a week-long wait for a slot. With a remote session the car stays at your home or your local garage, and the job is done with the same factory software the dealer uses.

Imported and grey-import cars
Cars brought in from Dubai, the UK or Japan can show the wrong language, units, radio region or navigation maps. Many of these settings can be changed by coding, so the car behaves like an Indian-market car.
Speed warnings in India
New cars sold in India must warn the driver above 80 km/h and continuously above 120 km/h (AIS-145). That warning is part of the car's homologation. I adjust other warning and chime settings, but not ones Indian rules require. Ask me what's possible on your car.
What you need
A Windows laptop, a diagnostic interface (VAS 6154, J2534 or a BMW ENET cable), a stable internet connection near the car and a battery charger. Power cuts and voltage drops are the main risk during flashing, so a charger or stable supply is not optional.
