Dealer-level programming for Bentley, without the dealer
Current Bentleys are built on Volkswagen Group platforms: the Bentayga on MLB Evo, the third-generation Continental GT and Flying Spur on MSB. Their control units need Bentley online access for coding and software updates after a replacement or repair.

Before the session
Bentley electrical systems draw a lot of current with the ignition on. A strong battery charger that holds the voltage between 13.0 and 14.0 V is essential during programming. Add a Windows laptop, a supported interface and a stable internet connection.

The platform is shared, but Bentley control units need Bentley-specific online access. I have the right setup for both.
